Standardized extracts of Glycyrrhiza glabra, Acacia catechu and Shankh bhasma.
Glycyrrhiza glabra – The compound Glycyrrhizic acid found in liquorice works well in controlling inflammation of gastric and Oesophageal mucosa, making it an effective ingredient in Acidity Relief Capsules for the treatment and control of chronic acidity. Additionally, it protects against ulcers. Liquorice can also be used to treat ileitis, leaky gut syndrome, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and Crohn’s disease due to its antispasmodic activity.
Acacia catechu – This plant, called khadira, contains derivatives of flavonols in its extracts, including catechins, catechols, and catecholamines. It is anti-inflammatory and protects the gastric mucosa.
Mode of Action
Kuracid contains natural anti-ulcerogenic agents that modify gastric pH. Kuracid also helps control burning pain and reflux. Glycyrrhiza glabra in Kuracid, also known as Rasayan in Ayurveda, is useful in gastric and duodenal ulcers.
Suggested Use
1 caplet with water, thrice a day, half an hour before meal on empty stomach.
Syrup
1-2 teaspoonful thrice a day after meals or as directed by your health provider.
