Mechanisms of action:
Zinc has been found to inhibit prostate cancer cell line growth and invasion. Selenium is a potential prostate cancer preventive agent and it may decreases the growth rate of prostate cancer cells. Selenium is an essential, nonmetallic trace element, plasma serum and tissue levels of selenium are inversely associated with the risk of developing prostate cancer. Mimosa pudica act as diuretic, anti inflammatory and coolant. It is helpful in case of all urogenital issues. Terrestrosin D, a steroidal saponin from Tribulus terrestris may help to inhibits growth and angiogenesis of human prostate cancer. Hygrophila auriculata act as nervine tonic and has anti oxidant properties. It possesses antitumor, antibacterial and free radical scavenging activities. Pumpkin seed extract has action as inhibition of 5-α-reductase which converts testosterone into DHT (dihydrotestosterone) which makes it very effective in BPH.
